Loss of a Member ~ IAFF Local 1476 [South Portland]
South Portland Firefighter/Paramedic Debra Cole
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of IAFF Sister Debra Cole of South Portland Local 1476. Firefighter/Paramedic Cole collapsed at the station house Tuesday evening while on duty. She was immediately rushed by her crew to Maine Medical Center in Portland. Debra underwent an extended period of surgery but sadly passed away late Thursday afternoon.
The sisters and brothers of the PFFM extend its deepest sympathy to the family of Firefighter/Paramedic Cole and the members of Local 1476.
