With deep regret, the UFA mourns the death of Lieutenant John H. Martinson, E-249, (appointed May 9, 1993) which occurred on Thursday, January 3, 2008, as result of injuries sustained while operating at Brooklyn Box 2-2 3762.
The heartfelt sympathy of the entire Department is extended to the family, relatives, and friends of the deceased in the midst of the great loss that they and the Department have sustained.

Followed by a Mass at 1100 hours at St. Clare's RC Church: 110 Nelson Avenue, Staten Island, NY

1400 to 1700 Hours and 1900 to 2100 Hours

1400 to 1700 Hours and 1900 to 2100 Hours
Members of the Department who are off-duty are requested to attend the funeral in dress uniform as a mark of respect to the deceased.
